Customer reactivation
Planned: careful, consent-aware campaigns to reconnect with past customers who'd want to hear from you.
Past customers drift away.
Lawful, consent-aware campaigns to reconnect with appropriate past customers.
To be confirmed
An old customer list doesn't automatically permit every outreach channel.
Overview
How it is designed to work
Past customers already know your work. Many of them drift away simply because nobody reached out at the right time. A well-timed, relevant message can remind them you're there.
Customer reactivation is a planned service and is not available yet. When it launches, it is designed to help you reach appropriate past customers through channels they've allowed, with messages you approve. An old customer list doesn't automatically permit every channel. Email would need a lawful basis and an unsubscribe link, texts would need prior consent, and anyone who has opted out would stay out. There's no launch date to share; you can register interest at sales@vyybe.co.
What it looks like
A walkthrough of the intended experience
For example, here's how a campaign is designed to work for an illustrative landscaping company reaching out before spring.
The list is checked first
Past customers would be sorted by what each person has agreed to. Some can get email, a smaller group can get texts, and anyone who unsubscribed or asked not to be contacted is removed.
A relevant group is chosen
For example, customers who had seasonal cleanup in the past two years but haven't booked this year. The segment would be agreed with you.
You approve the message
A short, plain message is drafted, such as a note that spring booking is open. You approve the wording before anything is sent.
Messages go out by permitted channel
Email goes only where there's a lawful basis and always includes an unsubscribe link. Texts go only to people who gave prior consent, with STOP honored.
Replies reach a person
Replies and booking requests are routed to you or your team. Unsubscribes and STOP replies are added to the suppression list right away.
You see what happened
A simple summary would show who was contacted, who replied, and who opted out.
What it does
What it is designed to do
List review and cleanup
Is designed to remove duplicates and sort contacts by the consent and history you have on record.
Channel eligibility
Would decide per contact which channels are allowed, rather than treating the whole list the same.
Suppression list handling
Would check every send against unsubscribes, STOP replies, and do-not-contact requests.
Segmenting
Would group past customers by things like service type or last job date so messages are relevant.
Approved campaigns
Would send only messages you've approved, as drafts until you sign off.
Reply routing
Would pass replies and booking requests to a person instead of answering them automatically.
Plain reporting
Would show sends, replies, and opt-outs without inflated or projected numbers.
What it can do for you
Why it can help
Use what you already have
Your customer history would become a reason to reach out at a useful time, instead of sitting in a spreadsheet.
Fewer compliance worries
Channel rules, unsubscribes, and suppression lists would be handled as part of the process, not as an afterthought.
Messages that fit
Segmenting would help each customer get a note that makes sense for the work you did for them.
A clearer picture
You'd see who responded and who opted out. Results vary, and no bookings or revenue are promised.
Who it's for
Is this a good fit?
- Service businesses with repeat or seasonal work and a few years of customer history
- Owners whose past customer records are in a CRM, booking tool, or spreadsheet
- Businesses that want to reach out respectfully and stay within email and text rules
- Probably not the right fit if you want to text or email everyone on an old or purchased list regardless of consent
How we work
From first conversation to a working setup
Register interest
This service is planned, so the first step is telling us you're interested at sales@vyybe.co. We'll follow up when we can scope it.
Discovery and list review
We'd look at where your customer data lives, how it was collected, and what consent and opt-out records exist.
Scoping
We'd agree segments, channels, message types, frequency limits, and who handles replies. Scope and price would be confirmed in writing.
Setup and approval
We'd set up the lists, suppression checks, and sending, then have you approve every message before the first send.
Launch and review
We'd run the first campaign, review replies and opt-outs with you, and adjust before the next one.
Scope
What's included, and what isn't
Typical scope. Exactly what's included is confirmed in writing for each project.
Typically included
- Review of your customer list and consent records
- Channel eligibility rules and a maintained suppression list
- Agreed customer segments
- Owner-approved email and text campaigns, sent only where permitted
- Reply routing and a simple results summary
- Scope would be confirmed in writing when the service launches
Not included
- Texting or emailing contacts without the required consent or lawful basis
- Purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists
- Legal advice on your specific obligations; we'd recommend checking with your own advisor
- Ad spend or paid advertising, which is separate
- Guaranteed bookings, response rates, or revenue
What you'll provide
- Your past customer records and where they came from
- Consent records for email and text, including any opt-outs
- Your business postal address for commercial emails
- Approval of every campaign message
- A person to handle replies and booking requests
Safeguards
Controls built in
- Each contact's channels would be checked individually; a past purchase does not automatically permit texting
- Texts only to people who gave prior consent, with STOP honored immediately
- Every email includes an unsubscribe link and your postal address
- Unsubscribes, STOP replies, and do-not-contact requests are honored and stay on the suppression list
- Campaigns stay as drafts until you approve them
- Frequency limits so past customers aren't contacted too often
FAQ
Questions owners ask
Is this available now?
No. Customer reactivation is planned and not available yet, and we're not giving a launch date. If you'd like us to reach out when we can scope it, email sales@vyybe.co.
We have phone numbers for all our past customers. Can we text them all?
Not just because you have the number. Marketing texts need prior consent from each person. The service is designed to text only those who agreed and to reach others by a channel they've allowed, if any.
What about email?
Email would go only where there's a lawful basis, such as an existing customer relationship or an opt-in, and every email would include an unsubscribe link. Anyone who unsubscribes would not be emailed again.
Can we use a list we bought?
No. The service is designed for your own past customers, contacted through channels they've permitted.
Will this bring back a set number of customers?
We can't promise that. It's designed to reach the right people with a relevant message. How many respond depends on your customers, your offer, and timing.
