Overview

How it works

Software rarely stays finished. Customers ask for new features, small bugs pile up, and the original developer may have moved on. This service adds features and makes improvements to an application you already have.

We use coding agents, which are AI tools that can prepare code changes, under testing, review, and rollback controls. A person at Vyybe reviews each change, and changes go through your approval before they reach your users.

This is a discovery inquiry service. We look at your application first and tell you plainly whether we can help. Steward, our product for this, is in development.

What it looks like

A typical walkthrough

Here's an illustrative example for a cleaning company with a booking web app that needs some upkeep. It's an example, not a past client.

  1. A look at what you have

You give us read access to the code and tell us what's bothering you. For example, the booking form is slow and customers want to reschedule online.

  2. A written plan

We list the proposed changes in plain language, what each one involves, and how we'll test it. Scope and price are confirmed in writing.

  3. Changes prepared and checked

Coding agents help prepare the changes. Automated checks run, and a person reviews the code before you see anything.

  4. You review a preview

You get a preview version to try. You test the new reschedule option yourself before any customer sees it.

  5. Controlled release

After your approval, the change is released. If something unexpected happens, it can be rolled back to the previous version.

  6. A record of what changed

Each change is logged with what was done and why, so you or another developer can follow the history later.

What it does

What it does

  • New features

Adds functionality to an existing application, scoped and agreed with you first.

  • Bug fixes and cleanup

Finds and fixes problems, and tidies up code that makes future changes harder.

  • Dependency and maintenance updates

Keeps libraries and frameworks reasonably current, where updating is safe and sensible.

  • Testing before release

Changes run through checks and human review. Where tests are missing, we can add them as part of the work.

  • Previews for your review

You try changes in a preview before they reach your users.

  • Rollback

Releases are set up so a change can be undone if something goes wrong.

  • Change history

A clear record of what changed, when, and why.

What it can do for you

Why it can help

  • Keep a working product moving

Feature requests and fixes get handled in an orderly way instead of piling up.

  • Lower development effort

Coding agents take on much of the repetitive work, which can make ongoing development more affordable. Price is confirmed in writing.

  • Changes you can see and approve

You review previews and approve releases, so nothing surprises you or your users.

  • Less dependence on one person

Documented changes and a clear history make the application easier for anyone to pick up later.

Who it's for

Is this a good fit?

  • Businesses with a web application that needs new features or better upkeep
  • Owners whose original developer is no longer available
  • Teams that want regular, reviewed improvements rather than occasional big rewrites
  • Products we built for you through a commissioned custom project
  • Probably not the right fit if you don't have access to your application's code or hosting, or if the application needs a full rebuild first. We'll tell you if that's the case.

How we work

From first conversation to a working setup

  1. Discovery

We review your application, its code, and how it's hosted and released today.

  2. Scope

We agree on the changes, how they'll be tested, and how releases will work. Scope and price are confirmed in writing.

  3. Build with coding agents

Coding agents help prepare changes, and automated checks run on each one.

  4. Review and approval

A person reviews the code, then you review a preview and approve the release.

  5. Release and ongoing improvement

Approved changes go out in controlled releases with rollback available. Further work follows the same steps.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

What are coding agents?

They're AI tools that can read code and prepare changes to it. They work under our direction, inside the checks we set up. A person reviews their work, and nothing reaches your users without your approval.

Can you work on an application someone else built?

Usually, yes. We start by reviewing the code and how it's released. If it's in poor shape or uses tools we can't support well, we'll tell you plainly.

What happens if a change causes a problem?

Releases are set up so a change can be rolled back to the previous version. Testing and preview review are there to catch problems before release, but rollback is the backstop.

What is Steward?

Steward, our product for this, is in development. This service is delivered by our team today and doesn't depend on Steward.

How is this priced?

It depends on your application and what you want done. We review it first, then confirm scope and price in writing before work starts.
